Default Using Squidoo for Affiliate Marketing, ROI: 1900%

Hi,

I want to share an amazing opportunity to make some money online right away.

"Squidoo is a free and easy way to build a page on a topic you're passionate about."

A few months ago I decided to set up my first Squidoo page. It wasn't hard at all. I found a niche, using some free keyword tools like: freekeywords.wordtracker.com and keyworddiscovery.com/search.html.
I searched for related affiliate products on Clickbank.com. I found an ebook which was doing pretty good. The landing page looked good and I decided to go with it. Then I went to some forums to see what these people in my niche were talking about. I wrote a few keypoints down and next I outsourced the article writing for only $15,-.

In the Squidoo title tag, I used my keyword twice. I added a poll, some images of smiling people and good quality articles with tips to solve their problem with my keywords in it. In the intro and last article I put my affiliate links. I didn't try to sell the affiliate product.

After a week I posted a Digg story containing my Squidoo link and keywords, submitted my page to lensroll.com, build some quality links and my search engine rankings gradually improved. I got good comments on my Squidoo page (people were happy that they bought the ebook which solved their problems) this boosted the sales.

After two months I made $300 with this Squidoo page. I know, it's not that much but imagine what would happen if you created a lens everyday single day or week (that's what I'm doing at the moment). A return on investment of 1900% is not bat at all.

Oh and don't forget to add tags on a regularly basis.

Do you use Squidoo for affiliate marketing already? Do you get good results? How do you promote your Squidoo pages?

Regards,

Joost

Hi Joost,

Thanks for sharing this teachnique with everybody. To be honest I'm not too familiar with Squidoo, but it's promising and exciting to see that not every affiliate marketeer goes about it the same. Generating revenue through your Squidoo pages seems like a great way to make money online. .. and a 1900% ROI is not "not to bad at all" - it is KILLER !

Have you tried sending some PPC traffic to it ?

Squidoo is a great service that as Joost demonstrates can be used for a lot of purposes, it already seems a lot of marketeers are trying to take advantage of it. Squidoo.com is an overall PR7 Domain and their outgoing links are NOT no follow, so you can use it for general SEO as well.

Thanks for sharing Joost!

Sure, but you don't have to focus on ebooks alone. There's tons of stuff out there

What I usually do is; go to answers.yahoo.com, typ in the niche-keywords and look at the questions/problems these people have.

For example try 'Panic Attacks', you'll find tons of valuable info about your targetted niche.

You don't have to stick with Clickbank.com, you could also look in the Commission Junction database or just typ in 'Niche' + Affilliate in Google.

I haven't tried PPC traffic yet. I'll set up an Adwords campaign this week. Squidoo.com shows which keywords/phrases visitors used to find the page but also shows the CTR to the merchant's page. I think that's pretty useful for PPC campaigns.

It might just be the thinking outside of the box that can make you good money. A lot of people have no clue how to create a good domain quality score, but a PR7 domain like Squidoo will most likely boost your campaign quality score like crazy

Good Luck Joost!
