Web 2.0 Gradient Styles for Photoshop!

Ok, so you probably by now have heard the term Web 2.0, and this applied to design means SHINNY – GLOSSY – REFLECTIVE designs!

This has been criticized by all major designers, but the fact is – This is the new Fashion Trend!

In this image you can see a parody of the Web 2.0 style.



As you see they took major companies logos and added the web 2.0 look.

So what I’ve got for you it’s a easy way to imitate this style without actually having no design WORK.
You all know the Blending Options in Photoshop… No? Shame on you!
So, to go to the Blending Options, just right click the layer you are working and choose “Blending Options” .


Then to see where you are going to choose this web 2.0 look you just need to go to “Gradient Overlay”


Too see which available styles you have just click the “down arrow” where it says “Gradient” and then click the “right arrow to see your available presets.


Now, comes the fun part!

Close Photoshop and go to this link http://www.dezinerfolio.com/wp-conte...nload.php?id=5
Click the “Download” button for the web 2.0 Gradients (v.3), open the *rar file and then extract the file to your Photoshop directory, more exactly to Photoshop CS2\Presets\Gradients ; and…. That’s it!
Now open Photoshop, and go again to the gradient overlay and see the available presets! You’ll see that now you’ll have one more presets called “Web_2.0_Grads_3.0”. Choose it and play with the different colour schemes!
